Housing Benefit review
To ensure awards of Housing Benefit remain up-to-date and accurate, we will regularly contact you to get confirmation about your claim.
If you are not self-employed
It’s easy to check if your current claim details are correct by logging into My Account and selecting the letter dated 29 February 2024 titled: EOY Benefits Statement.
If the details of your income, rent and capital remain the same as in the Benefits Statement:
Complete the no change declaration form
If something has changed or is wrong with the information held in the Benefits Statement:
Complete the change in circumstances form
If you are self- employed
If you are self-employed and have been asked to complete a self-employed review:
Complete the self-employed earnings information form
If you have audited accounts or a profit and loss statement you will need to upload a copy of this as evidence. We cannot accept HMRC tax returns as proof of income.
