
Emma is always ready to take on the day with a highly active approach. Starting off as a Customer Service Advisor back in December 2019, a route affected by the pandemic took Emma into providing advice and guidance for members of the community, assessing benefits and council tax. After the pandemic, she had an opportunity to try a secondment, which then led her to take on the Team Leader role she has today.
Organisation, being a team player, and the ability to empathise with people are just some of the qualities required as part of her role. Alongside the love for her job, and regardless of all the previous experience which has led her to today's Team Leader role, Emma maintains her belief that 'there are always opportunities to learn'.
Emma thoroughly enjoys the interaction with others that comes as a part of her job, and hitting targets and helping the team around her are what she finds most rewarding. She believes that care and enthusiasm get you far, which provides the self-motivation required to allow her to execute any task on a daily basis to meet Elmbridge’s high standards.
Care for others, resilience and the ability to thrive within the team, allows every day to be enjoyable. The variation, constant challenges and difficult tasks ensure there is never an identical working day for Emma.
