Nic is a Policy Officer within Policy and Performance, leading on the community safety agenda and involved in a wide variety of work such as public space CCTV, overview and scrutiny, energy and sustainability and equality and diversity.
First introduced to the world of community safety during his Masters in Applied Criminology, Nic has since worked in local government on community safety projects and volunteered in the police, before finding the perfect role at Elmbridge Borough Council.
Nic is an energetic worker with an upbeat attitude motivated by the chance to reduce the risk to vulnerable people in Elmbridge by empowerment and providing opportunities for people to report abuse. He enjoys the challenge of problem solving and working with partners such as Surrey Police and Housing Associations to find a solution.
