Handyperson service
Many older or vulnerable people find it difficult to carry out odd jobs around the home and don’t have anybody they can ask to help.
Care and Repair Elmbridge (CARE) has a handyperson who has been DBS checked and offers an affordable and reliable service.
Examples of work include:
- minor plumbing repairs
- fitting shelves
- installing smoke or carbon monoxide alarms
- fitting grab rails or bannisters
- fitting key safes (cost: £67)
Other types of work can also be carried out, provided they take no longer than an hour.
We aim to complete most jobs within 2 working days. Sometimes it may be up to 2 weeks before we can carry out the work, depending on the demand for the service and the availability of materials.
