Holiday activities

Find out about upcoming children's activities during the school holidays.

We have a variety of activities available this summer across Elmbridge. 

Please note: A parent, carer or responsible adult must remain with the child throughout the activity.

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

We welcome children with SEND to our activities. If you would like to discuss your child's needs ahead of an activity, please email us at communications@elmbridge.gov.uk 

Surrey County Council also has a list of summer activities for children with SEND.

Summer holiday activities

Thursday 20 August

The Wishing Tree - interactive storytelling session

You have three wishes, one for yourself, one for your community and one for the whole world... What will you wish for?

Time: 10:30am to 11:30am
Location: Weybridge Community Hub, Church Street, Weybridge, KT13 8D

For children aged 6 to 12. £3 per child and £1 per adult.

Prebooking only. Reserve your place.

Tuesday 25 August

Children's card making workshop

Time: 10:30am to 11:30am
Location: Weybridge Community Hub, Church Street, Weybridge, KT13 8D

Free to attend.

Wednesday 26 August

Shout! Stay and Play drop-in session and river walk

Join the Shout! team for a variety of fun activities, games, sports and crafts. Alternatively, you can get into nature and join the riverside walk.

Time: 10am to 1pm
Location: Xcel Open Space, Waterside Drive, Walton-on-Thames, KT12 2JG

No booking required.

Car-pooling or public transport is encouraged.


Game Heads gaming van

Come and try the Game Heads gaming van! Loaded with the latest consoles, up to 14 gamers can play at the same time each with their own screen, and their own console.

Time: 10am to 12pm

Location: The Heart Shopping Centre Walton-on Thames

For ages 7 and above

Thursday 27 August

Rah Rah Theatre: Teddy Bears Picnic

Bring along your favourite bear and join us on a fun, exciting adventure to get to the picnic on time! The show incorporates puppets, well-known songs and dancing together with important educational areas such as numbers, colours and shapes.

Time: 10:30am to 11:30am
Location: Weybridge Community Hub, Church Street, Weybridge, KT13 8D

For children aged 2 to 6. £3 per child and £1 per adult.

Friday 28 August

Shout! Stay and Play drop-in session

Join the Shout! team for a variety of fun activities, games, sports and crafts.

Time: 10am to 1pm
Location: Long Ditton recreation ground, Windmill Lane, Long Ditton, KT6 5JT

No booking required.

Car-pooling or public transport is encouraged.
