If you want to sell alcohol or provide other licensable activities, you will need to make sure you have permission to do so.
Licensable activities include:
- selling alcohol
- serving hot food and or drinks between 11pm and 5am
You’ll also need a licence if you provide the following types of entertainment:
- a performance of a play
- an exhibition of a film
- an indoor sporting event
- a boxing or wrestling entertainment
- a performance of live music
- any playing of recorded music
- a performance of dance
- entertainment of a similar description to a performance of live music, any playing of recorded music or a performance of dance
You’ll still need a licence even if the activities are for charity.
