You may use material, which is downloaded or printed for consultation purposes. Further copies must not be made without prior permission of the Copyright owner. Specific restrictions apply to Ordnance Survey plans. Activities that breach intellectual property rights are serious offences with established civil and criminal penalties including imprisonment.
Data protection and security
Plans, drawings and materials submitted to Elmbridge Borough Council and displayed on this website are published lawfully as a public register for consultation. This information is held manually, electronically and used only for licensing purposes. Inappropriate use of included personal information by participants or other website visitors may incur legal penalties. Internet Service Providers and investigating authorities are increasingly better equipped at tracing and prosecuting offenders nationally and internationally.

No responsibility will be taken for any errors or omissions in licensing information obtained and no liability is accepted for loss or damage arising from use of information obtained from this site. Similarly, the information contained does not constitute in any way a formal notification of a licensing decision, and as such any actions taken as a result of information displayed on the site are undertaken entirely at the user's own risk. Formal decisions will be notified to all entitled, relevant parties separately. If you have any reason to suspect that the information contained in the register is incorrect, please contact us online immediately so that the matter can be investigated and any corrections made as soon as reasonably practical.
The Council aims to ensure that only information which forms part of the Public Register under the Licensing Act 2003 appears on this website. In most cases the applicants' name and address form part of the register and must, therefore, appear. The Council will however, make every effort to remove personal details such as telephone numbers, email addresses and signatures prior to the information appearing on this website.
The Council processes your personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. The personal details provided by you will be held on a database and where the law allows, may be shared with other agencies or departments within the Council to update details they hold about you. The Council may also be required to disclose personal information to third parties (such as the Responsible Authorities under the Licensing Act 2003 and the Department for Work and Pensions or Audit Commission for the National Fraud Initiative for the purposes of preventing or detecting crime or apprehending or prosecuting offenders).
By law the applicant must be notified of any valid representations made to the Licensing Authority in respect of a licensing application. Names and contact details of representors will be disclosed to the applicant and will be made public except in exceptional circumstances or where the relevant legislation prohibits disclosure.
