Taxi fares
Taxi tariffs are shown below. Please see further information on the recent increase in taxi fares.
Tariff 1
Daytime rates: 6am to 8:59pm

Double-day rate: Christmas and New Year between 6pm 24 December and 5:59am on 27 December, and 6pm on 31 December and 5:59am on 1 January

Additional charges
The following additional charges apply:
- for each additional passenger in excess of one: £0.40
- booking charge: £0.60
- waiting for each period of 2 minutes or part thereof: £1.00
- for each animal not in a container (excluding Guide dogs): £0.60
- soiling charge (where carriage is unfit for immediate, subsequent hire): £100
The carriage of guide dogs is compulsory and free of charge.
The law requires that passengers must wear the seat belts provided.
Mileage rates may be charged from point of pick up only. Fare tariff only applies to journeys which begin and end in Elmbridge. Other journeys to be negotiated separately, but the meter must be operated throughout the journey.
