Residents and visitors to Cobham are invited to sample fabulous food, drink, crafts and products when the new Cobham Ethical Vegan Market launches this March with the best of vegan street food, artisan bakes, craft vegan cheeses, handmade cosmetics, ethical clothing and jewellery, arts and crafts.
Everything on offer at the launch event on Saturday 11 March from 9.30am on Hollyhedge Road is created by small independent businesses.
Councillor Robin Stephens, Portfolio Holder for Enterprise and the Local Economy said: "The village has a special and vibrant high street and we have been working hard with the businesses locally to look at what bespoke events would add something new to the events calendar."
"The new ethical vegan market is great example of the work underway to build a thriving Elmbridge as we strive to make our town and village centres the best places to live, work and visit – please do come along to the launch in March and check out the great local traders on offer from the market and our local independents across the village centre."
Louise Simpson, Founder of the Ethical Vegan Markets said: "We can’t wait to bring our market to Cobham. Our aim is to connect conscious consumers with small independent businesses. Our market will create a fun, inclusive environment without judgement for everyone whether vegan or not. We look forward to welcoming everyone to our first event in March."
