The Elmbridge Moving Art exhibition is coming back to Riverhouse Barn Arts Centre in Walton-on-Thames this autumn.
It was launched in 2017 in partnership with Riverhouse Barn Arts Centre and The R C Sherriff Trust as a bi-annual exhibition to showcase the work of artists who live in the borough or who have an affiliation with local arts organisations or societies.
In 2022, 81 works of arts were displayed as part of the exhibition. They covered various genres and used a wide range of media, including oil, acrylics, watercolour, photography, mixed media and porcelain.

Councillor Simon Waugh, Portfolio Holder for Leisure, Culture and Commercial Strategy, said, "I am pleased to see Elmbridge Moving Art returning to the Robert Philips Gallery this autumn. In 2022, we received a record number of submissions from artists working in different genres. The variety of works clearly reflected the great artistic talent we have in the borough. I encourage artists to send in a submission for a chance to display their work at The Robert Philips Gallery, a prime art space with many visitors.”
Tryphena Russel, Manager of the Robert Phillips Gallery, added: "We are delighted to host the Elmbridge Moving Art exhibition at the Robert Phillips Gallery again this autumn. It is always a pleasure to exhibit such a wide range of works using various media with a distinctive style. They all are a true reflection of the local talent we have in the borough. Come and have a look at them at them this autumn. You will not be disappointed.”
We look forward to receiving as many submissions as possible from the Elmbridge Art Community.
