Liberal Democrat Councillor Mike Rollings has been confirmed as the new Leader of Elmbridge Borough Council, with Resident Association Councillor Simon Waugh appointed as Deputy Leader. The Liberal Democrat and Residents Association, coalition was confirmed at Elmbridge’s Annual Council meeting on Wednesday 15 May.
The new Elmbridge Cabinet members were also appointed:
- Leader: Cllr Mike Rollings
- Deputy Leader, Leisure, Culture and Commercial Strategy: Cllr Simon Waugh
- Climate Change, Environmental Services and Sustainability: Cllr Ashley Tilling
- Community Care: Cllr Gill Coates
- Finance and Resources: Cllr Jez Langham
- Housing: Cllr Alex Batchelor
- Planning: Cllr Caroline James
- Enterprise, Parking and Local Economy: Cllr Kirsty Hewens
Cllr Rollings is pleased that this successful coalition is bringing continuity to the borough council for the next two years:
