Elmbridge Community Fund now open for groups to apply!

The Elmbridge Community Lottery has been supporting local charities for four years. When participants take part in the lottery, they can either support a charity or group or donate to the central community fund which is administered by Elmbridge Borough Council. All funds from the community fund are distributed annually to multiple good causes. To date, the community fund has generated a fantastic £35,000.

This year’s Elmbridge Community Fund is now open.

From 30 September 2024, until 1 March 2025, we are inviting Elmbridge charities and community groups to apply for funding for community programmes, projects or initiatives that demonstrate elements of our Vision 2030 for a sustainable, thriving Elmbridge driven by the power of our community. This year, we are prioritising projects that:

• support our high street ambitions, 
• support our health and wellbeing offer; and 
• those that celebrate arts and entertainment.

How much funding is available?

• the maximum amount any one organisation can apply for is £1,000.
• the community fund is administered by Elmbridge Borough Council which will be spent, based on need, on providing support to a wide range of local organisations and community initiatives which have a beneficial impact on the local community.

“The Elmbridge Community Lottery is a great way for local charities to raise much-needed. Since its launch in 2020 it has raised over £150,000 for Elmbridge charities and community groups. Through this collective effort, we are now able to open the annual Elmbridge Community Fund to help more people in our community. I would encourage local groups to apply for this additional funding, especially if they are supporting our high streets, health and wellbeing or celebrating arts and entertainment in the borough.
