The Elmbridge Partnership Fund has now opened for applications for 2024, giving local non-profit organisations the chance to apply for funding to help support Elmbridge residents.
The Fund is provided by Elmbridge Borough Council with contributions from local charities Walsingham Care and Walton Charity, and is open to any non-profit organisation or community group operating in the borough of Elmbridge. Grants of up to £5000 will be given to projects which help vulnerable residents with their health and wellbeing, specifically those which will help reduce social isolation or provide physical activities, especially to those on low income.
Also currently open is the third round of the Elmbridge Cost of Living Fund, which provides funding to local non-profits, schools, faith groups and community interest corporations who are providing services to help residents who are financially vulnerable.
Councillor Gill Coates, Portfolio Holder for Community Care, said: ‘For many of our vulnerable residents, those who are older or living with a disability, voluntary organisations provide a much-needed lifeline, and with increased pressures of cost of living, Elmbridge Council is proud to be able to work with Walsingham Care and Walton Charity to help provide additional funding to support the community.’
Applications for the Partnership Fund are open until Thursday 31 October. For full details including guidance notes and the online application form, please visit www.elmbridge.gov.uk/community-support/voluntary-sector-funding-and-support/voluntary-sector-funding
