This is a national opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.

Weybridge Remembrance information, 10 November, provided by St James Church
- 8am Said Eucharist (quiet service of Communion)
- 10am Sung Eucharist with choir
- 11:30am Family service (with songs and aimed at families with younger children)
- 2:15pm Wreath laying ceremony at Weybridge War Memorial
- 3pm Elmbridge Civic Service, with uniformed organisations presentation of colours, candles lit in prayers and remembrance, followed by refreshments at The Parish Centre
Armistice day: Monday 11 November 2024
At the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month – we will remember them.
To this day we mark Armistice Day (the Armistice: an agreement to end the fighting of the First World War as a prelude to peace negotiations) around the United Kingdom with a two minute silence at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month.

- Elmbridge Museum talk: Remembrance, Life on the Homefront: Free talk and a chance for people to share their own memories of the homefront.
- Hersham Centre: Tuesday 5 November, 10:30am to 11:30am
- Cobham Centre: Tuesday 5 November, 1pm to 2pm
- Walton Centre: Thursday 7 November, 1:30pm to 2:30pm
- Claygate Centre Remembrance Lunch: Thursday 7 November, 12pm. With a concert from ex-serviceman trumpeter Vic Gilder.
- Hersham Remembrance Event: Monday 11 November, 10:30am to 11:30am. Will be marking the minute’s silence with St Peter’s Church.
- Molesey Remembrance lunch: Monday 11 November, 12pm.
- Weybridge Remembrance coffee morning: Monday 11 November, 10am to 12pm.
