Join our countryside volunteer teams and help protect the local environment

Join our friendly volunteer groups at Claygate Common and Weybridge Heath to help protect and enhance local wildlife and habitats through seasonal conservation tasks.

15 August 2025
Group of countryside volunteers

We are looking for new volunteers to join our dedicated groups working across Claygate Common and Weybridge Heath.

With 20 local sites under our care, including woodlands, meadows, ponds, wetlands, and heathlands, our work is to protect, preserve, and enhance biodiversity while maintaining public access to these beautiful spaces. Volunteers play a vital role in habitat management, helping us achieve more for local wildlife, the natural environment, and the community. No experience is necessary, just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Training, tools, and refreshments are provided. The nature of the work is seasonal.
