Looking for a way to enjoy the outdoors, meet new people, and boost your wellbeing?
Our summer programme of wellbeing walks and cycle rides is the perfect opportunity to do just that.
Led by friendly and experienced volunteers, these activities are designed to help you explore places in the borough, stay active, and meet people. Walks take place daily, while cycle rides run weekly and there’s something for everyone.
Whether you're looking for a gentle stroll on flat terrain, want to build confidence with inclusive walks, or prefer a brisk Nordic walk, our varied programme caters to all abilities. It includes:
- weekly and monthly circular walks
- themed historical walks
- scenic routes through Painshill Park and Claremont Landscape Gardens (advance booking required).
We even have a 1km walk or wheel if you are looking for a sociable, short and accessible stroll.
Summer is a great time to get outside, enjoy a friendly chat, and discover new spots around Elmbridge.
All walks are free. Just check out our programme and find one that suits you. You might uncover hidden gems and learn something new along the way.
Why not join us as a volunteer?
It’s a fantastic way to connect with others, boost your own wellbeing, and make a positive difference in your community. You’ll be joining a warm and welcoming team of volunteers, and we provide free training to help you get started. We’d love to hear from you! Email us to find out more.
