The Cobham Conservation Area was designated on 31 July 1973 by Surrey County Council. It is based around the historic core of the village of Church Cobham and the River Mole, and includes Mill Road, River Hill and Church Street all of which retain several buildings of architectural or historic interest and others that contribute to the street scene. Important buildings include the Church of St Andrew (Grade l listed), Ham Manor, Cedar House and Church Stile House (all Grade ll* listed) and Cobham Mill (Grade ll).
A Character Appraisal and Management Proposals document for the conservation area was endorsed by planning committee on 11 June 2019.
