The Tilt Conservation Area was designated by Elmbridge Borough Council on 31 July 1979 and extended on 10 March 2015. It is an attractive linear settlement comprising a series of enclosed and partially enclosed open areas, formerly part of a much larger area of common land.
The council published The Tilt Conservation Area Character Appraisal and Management Plan in 2015. This document was produced as a collaborative project between the community, consultants and officers from the Council and is available to view below.
