All instalments are due on or before the due dates (1st of the month). If instalments are not paid on time you may lose the right to pay by monthly instalments and the remaining balance for the year will be due straight away.

We offer various ways to pay business rates.
10 instalments
The default instalment plan for your annual business rates is 10 instalments. If you are sent a bill during the year, you will have fewer instalments.
If you pay by Direct Debit over 10 instalments, you do not need to cancel your Direct Debit once the final payment is made. Once your balance is paid, we will not request any payment until the first instalment of your next year’s bill.
12 instalments
You can request to pay your annual business rates over 12 monthly instalments. If you are sent a bill during the year, you will have fewer instalments.
If you request to pay over 12 instalments we will send you a new bill showing your new payments and when they are due.
