Report bins or litter in parks or open spaces
Green spaces maintenance - delays with greenspace and countryside bin collection - update 16 August
The council is aware of the high levels of complaints in relation to the Grounds Maintenance within Elmbridge. The council is dissatisfied with the performance of the current contractor who carry out that grounds maintenance in Elmbridge including the mowing of grass in our open spaces, cemeteries and bin emptying. We are working to improve this service and where problems persist on sites and bins are not emptied the council will use additional resources to do so. Please continue to report bins via online reporting page.
Thank you for your patience and we apologise for the inconvenience to users of our green spaces.
Our grounds maintenance contractors, Glendale, are responsible for litter collection in parks and open spaces. To find out when the bins will next be collected in your local green space, please visit Glendale’s local website.
If you see litter or overflowing bins in parks or open spaces you can report it to us.
Using the unique identifier number and QR code on bins to report issues will speed up our response time, as we will be able to identify their precise location.
